We are seeking expressions of interest and input to the program from Higher Education providers seeking to enhance employability outcomes and work experience opportunities for their international students.
Diverse, multi-disciplinary student teams will tackle business projects for Victorian Government agencies, through a structured process – around 50 hours of work over 3-6 weeks.
Students will be supported with a consulting mentor and the LIVE Project learning platform for task structuring, content delivery, deliverable submission and team / mentor collaboration.
Agencies, Businesses and Community Organisations brief students on an addressable business challenge and act as clients to the student team.
Requirements; develop an addressable brief, no cost / hosting requirement, about 4-5 hours of time in 2-3 meetings over the project for each team to brief students, provide feedback and receive work.
Benefits; some value add project work (eg; international practice research), connections with diverse students with different perspectives, and an opportunity for mentoring staff to develop their skills in briefing and coaching a consultant team to deliver a valuable output
LIVE is aimed at further enhancing the international student experience in Victoria, particularly around social connectedness, engagement with the wider community and employability.
Participation in LIVE Projects is organised through University.
